There is no surprise that this team is a favorite to every year make an appearance in the CWS. So many people are looking at what is in store for the Gamecocks for the upcoming year. One of the reasons that the team is on the verge of winning a CWS title is due to the fact that they have several players that they recruit from area High Schools. These players then go on to bring a decent amount of power to the bullpen of the Gamecocks.
The schedule that the Game cocks have in the upcoming will be one of the more challenging that they have had in the recent years. There will be a lot of teams that will challenge the team to maintain their yearly appearance in the NCAA tournament. There should be very little trouble for the team to find their way to the tournament, as every year they are the team that so many people pick to be the favorite.
The roster this season for the Gamecocks is one of the stronger rosters that has played for the Gamecocks in quite some time. These players will be the driving force behind the team finding themselves in the NCAA tournament yet again. There are also high hopes that this will lead to a SEC title for them as well.
The dominance does not stop when it comes to the outfield, there are several places that the team is powerful when it comes to being unbeatable in the long run, one of these areas is the infield, this is where the majority of the big plays that the team made last season came from. There are a lot of things that the team will be able to do when it comes to making the most out of their opportunities.
If you are a person that follows college baseball, then you will want to make sure that you follow the Gamecocks this season, the reason for this is due to the fact that there will be a lot of buzz that surrounds the team and their drive towards an appearance in the CWS and will drive their way towards the first CWS title for them is quite a long time.
