Ok, I read the rules and guides, and it tells you how your credits are calculated. I'm now at 3 Credits, but what does that mean??

I haven't really noticed any difference in my access restrictions or what parts of the forum I can view or post in. So, my question is, what is the purpose of gaining higher credits?

Also, how come people who create theads to ask stupid questions can increase their 感谢 (Thankyou??) points when people who post answers receive nothing?? It makes you think that it is better to create pointless threads then to make helpful replies. So what's the deal here?
