do I need any particular codec pack to watch downloaded movies.. downloaded a few and am unable to play them usining K-lite codecs latest.. any suggestions.. thanks..

hi, what type of your movies. i think codec is most player every type of movie. may be the codec program is unsuccessful when you install so please install firt and if it have a problem again.i think you must download the codec again for full file

Its mostly the "rmvb" files that I am unable to watch.  I used windows classic player (came with K-Lite), and it comes up with a error message saying "could not render some of the pins in the graph, you may not have the needed codecs or filters installed on the system"..

i think you should download other version's codec player but movie rmvb i can played with codec player.or the other way you should download "divx" and "realplayer" program.it may be help you to play the movie.try it goodluck.

you may use the Kmplyer , it is a wonderful player

for english user.

VLC is also a good choice. there are add on codec you can always download from the internet. as well as all the language packs.

supports XP vista and mac..
